Bon Voyage!!!

Not even a year ago a family came to visit our small church! In that family there were two boys and three girls. Naturally I looked for the one closest to my age... I heard rumors that the oldest, a girl was going to be "going to college next fall." I thought to myself, "Oh!!! She will probably be too "grown up" and too sophisticated to enjoy our simple fun." She looked like a nice girl. "Will we be able to become friends with her before she goes to college?" We did what we could to make that family feel at home, and they kept coming back, again and again.

Now, after hours and hour of precious memories and sooooo many good times the time has come for her to leave. No longer is she "the oldest one" but she is Crazy Katie! The best! The wonderful! Dear Kaitlin! Ohhh, how hard can it be to say goodbye. For only a few months, I know! But still goodbye!

Kaitlin, I wish you the best of the best! May this year at college be a time of growing, blossoming!!! not only simply in your life, but in your walk with the Lord and following Him and striving to be holy even as He is holy, which is life to it's fullest! Keeping your eyes fixed on Him and cheerfully following His leading!

You have been such an encouragement to me in this short time I have known you! I owe soooo much to you! "Flocks of goats" helped with many things in my life that are hard to explain and you know how if it weren't for you there wouldn't have been any 'carrot' ;)

I am going to and already miss you very very very very very much! But I trust that this is not goodbye! But it is 'till we meet again' may God keep you in the hollow of His hand and protect you and cause his face to shine upon you! May He bless you with countless blessings as you live for Him day by day!
